Ryo stared a the figure in front of him who was quietly working by himself not speaking a word. He also glanced at the other two who were also keeping to themselves. The silence was starting to get to him.

"Ummmm, Ueda do you have the answer to question 3?" Ryo said as nicely as he could, he didn't know what was wrong with the other and didn't want to provoke it.

Ueda sighed, "it's called Advanced math for a reason, you're suppose to figure it out on your own." Ueda stated before he turned his entire attention back to his paper.

Ryo sat there dumbstruck. Sure there were plenty of times when he would  cheat an whole page of problems off Ueda but never before had Ueda flat out refused to help him.

Jin stopped momentarily from copying off someone else's paper to stare at his two friends. From the corner of his eye he could also see Pi glancing up as well. The other two hardly realised that they were staring. One was to busy staring at the other one, while the other was to busy with his face completely down concentrating on his work.

"Ne, Ryo. Ueda's not feeling well today." Jin yesterday that though he was mad at his friend for not liking Ueda it was not totally his fault and didn't deserve to be shunned. 

Ryo nodded silently before shifting his eyes to back to his paper.

"You Have 10 minutes to finish your assignments. Please don't waste time talking." The teacher belowed from his desk making it obvious that he was talking to their table.

"NISHIKIDO RYO PLEASE REPORT TO THE OFFICE. NISHIKIDO RYO PLEASE REPORT TO THE OFFICE." the announcment blared in the room.

Ryo stood up and packed up his things in his bag. Just before he walked out the door he stopped, "I hope you feel better Ueda." he said calmly as he could before walking toward the office not seeing a trembling Ueda in his seat.

"Don't you think that this is a bit stupid Jin?" Pi asked him as they walked out of their history class.

Jin raised his eyebrow, ""What do you mean?"

Pi shrugged, "I don't know this whole Ryo, Ueda thing. I mean come on! I know Ueda was like IN LOVE with him but you can't always get the things you want. Life just doesn't work that way." 

Jin noticed that Pi voice gradually got softer as he spoke, "I know you can't always get what you want but I mean, they were the ideal couple. Both sarcastic and moody."

Pi gave Jin a sarcastic look of his own, "'Oh yeah that makes a PERFECT COUPLE! Might as well have them kill each other now and save us some grief."

Jin laughed and shook his head before stopping at his locker to put away his books, "So PI, since you are so knowledgeable, What is your ideal couple?"

Pi leaned against the lockers and put on his thinking face with consited of puckered lips and scruchy eyes. Pi smiled and laughed before launching himself and Jin.

"YOU. You are my ideal boyfriend."

Jin laughed before prying Pi off gently.

"You are so stupid PI!" Jin said before giving Pi and gentle push.

"No YOU are stupid BAKAnishi!" Pi exclaimed and pushed Jin.

"No you are" *PUSH*

"YOU are" *PUSH* 

And it went on like this for a while before Pi got a lil to rough and slammed Jin into the locker making a loud sound through out the hall.

Jin grabbed the arm that took all his weight and damage from the locker.

"See what you did Pi! Now there is going to be a bruise there!" 

Pi scurried to Jin to have a look at his arm. The two boys were so busy looking at the swollen, beatened arm that they didnt' realise that another presence was right there with them.

"Don't you think that you boy should be in the cafeteria?"

The boys whirled around to see Mr.Joong standing at his door way leaning against it. Jin's heart started to beat fast and he could feel a blush start to creep on his face. Mr. Joong had probably seen how childish Jin and Pi were acting. And the way Jin whined about his arm. Oh the embaressment.

Pi glanced toward Jin who was busy trying to hide his face.

"Uh, we were just going to go get lunch sir. We're sorry if we disturbed you." Pi said and gave him a short bow.

Mr.Joong nodded, "Well then off with the both of you before an administrator comes and catches you." 

Pi nodded before grabbing Jin's hand and walking quickly toward the cafeteria. 

Halfway toward the cafeteria Pi glanced back to see that Mr.Joong had finally gone into his class. Pi stopped and wiped his head, "Woooh that was a close one! I thought he was going to report us didn't you Jin?"

Pi turned to Jin who he noticed was still staring off in the direction of the teachers class, "Jin? You ok?" Pi asked full of concern.

No coherent answer came but a short mummble before Jin bounded back toward the class.

"Jin where you going!?" Pi called out.

"You go with Ueda! I'm going to stay behind. See you in a couple hours." Jin replied back before walking back toward the class leaving Pi.

Pi sighed and shook his head. Walking alone toward the cafeteria.

Jin walked the rest of the way to Mr.Joong's class slowly trying to decided whether he should or should not iniciate anything. Sure he was happy when he heard that Mr.Joong secretly liked him but that was no reason to just go and fall in love with the guy. Jin hardly knew him.

But with one look of Mr.Joong sitting in his desk eating quietly to himself all doubts went away and Jin decided the hell with it!  He would go.

"heymr.joongiwaswonderinginsteadofcallingyoumr.joonglikeeverybodyelsedoesifwecouldjuststopwithformalitiesandjustcalleachotherbyourfirstnames?" Jin took a deep breath having said all that in one breath.

Jae was having a hard time understanding what the other had said but spoke up as in came together.

"You want to call me by my first name?" Jae asked slowly.

Jin nodded quickly.

Jae shrugged, "Well I geuss that's no problem as long as you adress me formaly inside the class." Jae said returning his attention back toward his food.

Jin smiled and grabbed a chair so he could seat himself next to Jae behind his desk.

"So what's your name?"

Jae hestitated trying to pick up a piece of meat, "Jae"

"Jae." Jin tested the name on his tongue. It was indeed a lovely name to say. Jin scooted over to have a closer look at what Jae was eating.

Jin made a face, "What's that?" Jin asked poking at the contents inside of the lunch.

Jae slapped his hand away and  looked at what he was eating, "It's just some food that I whipped up before I came."

Jin snorted, "It looks crappy."

Jae whirled his head to stare at Jin who was still looking at his lunch, "I'd like to see you do it, and do it after you have woken up ten minutes late." 

Jin raised and eyebrow letting his gaze linger over the food. This meal wasn't done nicely at all. The meats were colliding in with all the other side dishes.

"It looks like you did it in 20 minutes."

"fifteen" Jae said in a matter of factly voice, lifting his chopstick and sticking a piece of food in his mouth.

"Mmmm and it's still good. Here you have some." Jae was now holding the chopsticks up to Jin's face, a piece of something unknown dangeling from it.

Jin pushed Jae's hand away from him, "No, Jae. I'm not going to eat that." jin chuckled and zipped his mouth to try to prove his point.

Jae huffed and lifted the food to his own mouth.

"But you know if you want to taste some good food, you could ditch this food and the two of us could go to this restraunt I like."

Jae stopped picking at his food to conclude what Jin had just told him. There was no way that his student crushed had just asked him to go and have lunch with him. Especially since he had his own friends to eat with him. Jae shook his head.

"No........"Jae hesitated "I don't want all my hard work to go to waste. I'd better just stay here."

Jae picked up another piece of food to show that he really meant what he said. Jae heard Jin sigh and in a matter of seconds his food was snatch away and was being held by a smiling Akanishi Jin who held it inches above the trash can.

"Jin DON'T YOU DA...........RE" Jae watched as Jin dropped is lunch into the trash can and then dust off his hands.

Jin put his hands to his hips, "Now can you go?"

Jae couldn't say anything so he just nodded his head and let himself be dragged away from his class room.

"Don't worry Jae we are going to have so much fun!"

"WAIT I DIDN'T LOCK UP MY CLASS!!!"

Ryo frowned as he looked at the figure sitting across from him and then back to his father and mother

"Ryo this is Ayaka, she is your fiance."







(Back at school)

Ueda and Pi were eating quietly to themselves, they never really did talk to each other that much.

Pi looked up at Ueda, and then to Jin's empty chair.

"Hey Ueda....."

Ueda looked up from his lunch.

Pi leaned in so only Ueda could hear him, "I know who Ryo secretly likes, all you have to do is get rid of the competition and *POOF* Ryo-chan's all yours"

Ueda eyes turned into deadly slits, "Who is it?" He said without any compassion.

Pi chuckled to himself,"Two words 'Jae Joong'"

You didn't always get what you wanted, but sometimes if you fight hard enough you can force others to give it to you.
